TOP 5 TIPS

To submit a successful litter report

  1. Do not approach the offender - they may get aggressive.
  2. Only write your report while stopped at traffic lights or a stop sign. If you have a passenger in the vehicle ask them to write down the information.
  3. Make a mental note of the time and place – for example, ‘I was driving to get my kids from school’
  4. Try to distinguish obvious features of the offender. ie. tattoo on right arm/rings on right hand/blue shirt.
  5. Look at the vehicle. Note any dents, scratches or stickers or noticeable features. The more details you can provide in your report, the better chance there is of your offender being issued with infringements.
